Dear Visitor,

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Alternatives Pregnancy Center’s website. Since 1983, we have been meeting the needs of women and their families in the greater Sacramento area, and now in Folsom. 

Each person that we counsel or assist has one thing in common: the desire to make an informed decision, and the need for support (emotional, physical, or spiritual). We trust that through this site, you will capture a glimpse of our mission and services as well as a general overview of APC. The purpose of this website is to provide you with vital information that will educate you on the services APC provides.  One of our desires is that you know the help we have to offer and, when needed, we are here to assist you, a family member, or someone you know who needs the help of APC.  Our commitment is to always give medically accurate information, to assist you in making an informed decision, as well as educate on related topics, and give personal support.  

The issues we deal with are relevant because nearly 50% of all pregnancies are unintended; therefore women and their partners are in need of accurate information, now more than ever. 

Keep in mind that this is a small glimpse of what we do. Please visit the pages of client testimonies and resources we have provided just for you. Please also view the faces of children assisted by our program to see a more tangible example of why our work is so important.  You will hear stories of individuals who felt as if they did not have a choice, who felt pressured by their circumstance and did not have one person who believed in them. 

We believe and prove daily that everyone has options, and by empowering them through education and compassion, they are able to make decisions that they can live with! No situation is hopeless!  There is always a way, and we will provide or connect you with the resources necessary to bring hope to your situation. 

Remember that each story has a life attached to it. If you would like to connect with these lives, we need you.
