"My wife Lynn and I have been supporters of APC since we moved to Sacramento in 2003. During a ministry fair at our church, my wife became very interested in APC’s mission and how the center provided compassion, support and encouragement not only for those that chose life, but also those that had not. In 2007 when she was laid off from her job, her interest in supporting the ministry led her to volunteering as a client advocate.

"As the husband of a client advocate, I had the opportunity to see first-hand the tremendous challenges facing the volunteers, management and staff, and the courage and compassion they exhibited in demonstrating God’s love in a very tangible way to men and women facing an unplanned pregnancy. As I observed the impact that her work had upon the lives of her clients, I too felt led to volunteer but in a way in which my talents could best serve the ministry. My wife Lynn and I passionately support the mission of APC and I am grateful to be able to serve as a member of the board of directors."
