About
Alternatives Pregnancy Center is a non-profit women’s medical health clinic licensed by the State of California. Founded in 1983, Alternatives is dedicated to meeting the medical, emotional, material, and spiritual needs of women facing unplanned pregnancies. By offering hopeful alternatives to the abortion choice, Alternatives is committed to empowering families in the Sacramento area and enabling them to build positive futures.
The licensed medical professionals and the specially trained volunteer Client Advocates provide pregnancy services, including pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, nursing consultations, STD testing and treatment, Abortion Pill Reversal Services, Prenatal Care, and Well-Woman Visits. The Education Center at APC also offers prenatal, lactation, and parenting classes, as well as maternal and infant assistance.
APC accepts no federal or state funding, and all services are free of charge and completely confidential.

Each year, individuals in the Sacramento area struggle with decisions related to unplanned pregnancies. Alternatives Pregnancy Center (APC) is committed to meeting the needs of these women and others by offering Free Pregnancy Services, STI Testing, Abortion Pill Reversal Services, Court Approved Parenting Classes, and After Abortion Care.
