Trials reveal the heart and character of those who go through them. In the past year, Alternatives has faced adversity unmatched to date - and yet the Lord has helped us remain faithful to what he has called us to. We have stayed on mission, stewarding your support to protect the unborn and to share the Gospel with women facing unplanned pregnancies.
And even in the midst of chaos, our faithful God has grown us. And he has used you to do this.
You are the reason 2,475 appointments were made this year to serve women who needed hope. You were the reason 590 women saw the gift of life in their wombs. You were the reason the Gospel was shared with women who have never heard it before. You are the reason our mission-focused stats have all improved.

As we look back at the year, we stand in awe of what God has brought us through and what he has accomplished in just 12 months.
Our Year
The Flood
In October of 2021, our clinic was shut down by a flood and we spent months operating solely out of our mobile clinic.
Our New Building
Days after the flood, we found the building of our dreams, and you all gathered together enough for the down payment! (See the bottom of the page for our new home in the making!)
SOHL Celebration
Nearly 900 people young and old gathered together to celebrate the sanctity of human life and learn how the Gospel should impact our views on abortion.
Prayer Filled Pop-Up Shop
Hundreds from the Alternatives family came to dedicate our building and write their prayers on the frame and foundation before the walls went up and the floors were laid.
Senate Hearing
Heidi Matzke was invited to Washington D.C. to speak before members of the U.S. Senate on behalf of pregnancy centers across the country.
Gala For Life
We started our goal to pay off our new building by the end of the year and raised $400,000 towards our goal while celebrating all that God had done in 2022 at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel downtown.
Administrative Move-In
The administrative staff moved into our newly renovated building the week after Thanksgiving to prepare for the medical team!
